Searching for truth..

Daniel Berlinger has arrived at a point where he has major creative assets at his disposal. Starting out as a producer of house and ambient at the age of 16, his musical roots and the piano lured him back to live music. Early on, in his childhood, his father, himself a dedicated pianist, discovered his perfect pitch and nurtured his exceeding talent.

At 26, Berlinger has recorded a brilliant pop album with his band, the future looks very ecxiting for them. Taking the band on the road will keep him busy, but he still is taking on a new challenge - pushing his creative boundaries and creating a new style of solo piano songwriting.

It is his sense of timeless beauty that sets this songwriter apart from others. Consumed with composition and band arrangements, he lost sight of his own outstanding instrumental skills for years. “I had always seen the piano as my tool to conceptualize ideas”, Berlinger says, “but now I feel new love for my instrument. The new songs just with vocals and piano are entering new ground. They reflect the unvarying goal of artists that are stretching out: to create something out of the ordinary, all that music can be, mysterious, close and touching.”

Daniel Berlinger sounds already like an artist in his prime. His band’s album “We’re part of something” might well prove to be a major breakthrough. Now, they need to hit the road and get exposure. Creatively, Berlinger keeps pushing himself further. He’s in it to find the truth, his journey will go on. There’s still room for the music to grow.
